Hello america!!!! those of us that are fortunate to have jobs are paying our rent, utilities, bills, AND raising a family on less than that. I personally am a single mom raising a 3 month old on $10 an hour, and I am considered a better paid part time employee. Imagine having a family of four?
School is an option for many people here because the jobs are not quite in yet...yes some places are starting to hire again which is a good sign. if the government can help pay for most of it, can you blame them?
I may be young but one of the biggest debates I have heard about illegal immigration is that they are doing the jobs no one else will do. I think it's about time our government officials wake up and get there butts to our city and see elkhart has a few thousand people willing to do anything.
How about we start there? Its not our fault people came here illegally and started popping out kids living off our taxes. And before anyone says anything about where MY heritage comes from, my family hails from Germany, but ya know what? THEY did the documentation and learned english before they were allowed to move.
Thats a start for me. Alot of people need to work. Where are the jobs? And how can they get to honestly, a smaller town in Elkhart, IN?
